What a token is, why a palette switch touches nothing but tokens, and how light, dark and a campaign colour coexist.
A token is a named decision: “accent”, not “pink”. Components ask for the decision; the theme supplies the value. Light and dark are two sets of values for the same names, and a campaign palette is a third — which is why switching one changes every page and breaks none.
