Kanda Logistics — operations system

Kanda ran a fleet of forty vehicles from nine spreadsheets and a group chat. It worked, in the way that things work when three people carry the whole system in their heads and nobody is allowed to be ill.

What we built

One system with roles, a dispatch board drivers use from their phones, and a record of every change and who made it. Designed and built by the same people, with the dispatchers in the room from the second week.

What changed

The spreadsheets are gone. New staff learn the board in an afternoon. When a delivery goes wrong, the answer to “what happened?” is a click rather than a meeting.
